The distributive property is a combination of addition and multiplication. The property of distributive law is = a (b + c) = ab + ac. Substituting the values for a= 1, b=2, c=3, 1 x (2 + 3) = (1 x 2) + (1 x 3) = 5. On the left side, two digits are given in the brackets and they need to be added initially according to the BODMAS principle. On the right side, two sets are there for multiplication and the answers have to be added in the end. Both of the answers will remain the same. This worksheet contains ten different combinations of numbers in each sheet for better practice.
