Present Perfect Tense

An action or situation that started in the past and continues in the present is referred to as present simple perfect tense. The formula used to write present simple perfect tenses are: have/has + past participle of the verb. Past participle verb is nothing but adding of “ed or d” at the end of the verb.

Example: I have played chess.
