A prefix is a group of letters placed before the root of a word. For example ( ___happy). Before the word “happy”, “un” needs to be used as a prefix. In few cases, the root word does not have any meaning and in few cases, words have a positive meaning before the prefixes have been used. Once the prefix gets added, the meaning of the word will give a negative sense. For example – Unhappy, happy is a word that gives some positive meaning and “un” added to it gives a negative meaning. 60+ questions have been given for practice.
